The Community (Mission and Outreach) Group seeks to spread the good news of Jesus Christ by word and action. We share our faith with those who do not know or who are seeking Jesus. We also seek to help those who already know our Lord into a deeper relationship with him

Meditation Group

The meditation group offers a safe, silent space in company with others. We normally meet in the vestry on the first and third Mondays of the month at 2pm. The pattern remains constant; we listen to a short talk on the practice of meditation supplied by the World Community for Christian Meditation and this is followed by 25minutes of silence, concluding with the recommended prayer . The whole session lasts about 45 minutes, and anyone is welcome to come on a regular or occasional basis.

Some of us then usually stay for tea or coffee in the concourse.

Community Networking Lunch

community networking lunch Oct 2019

Community Lunch - Wednesday 3rd April

NETWORK7The hall looked as if it had been transformed for a banquet. The new roundtables, covered with crimson table cloths and fresh fruit centre pieces really did look very inviting.Over seventy members from local Businesses and Community, together with Clergy from 6 of our Camberley churches including the Inman and Chairman from the Mosque, all came. They enjoyed a sumptuous three course lunch provided by Colin and his team - consisting of soup, rolls and cakes. There was a friendly buzz in the room as a lot of networking took place between old and new acquaintances. All wCere most appreciative of the opportunity to meet and socialise.NETWORK2NETWORK5NETWORK6

Children of the Dump logo 90pxChildren of the Dump (formerly ASCT)

Children of the Dump provides education, family support and loving care to deprived children living in extreme poverty on and around the Payatas and San Isidro rubbish dumps in Manila in the Philippines. Today we help care for up to about 300 children in different ways, some of whom have been neglected, abused or even abandoned. Since 1975 the supporters of Children of The Dump, along with our Filipino charity partner (ASCF), have been giving young lives the chance to escape the cycle of poverty through education.
